RADIO ONE DJ Sara Cox and comedian Rufus Hound took to the slopes at a Glasgow ski centre.
After a week of public voting, the Glasgow Ski and Snowboarding Centre in Bellahouston Park beat the Riverside Museum to win a visit from the famous pair.
The event celebrated the £30 million raised each week for the National Lottery’s Good Causes projects.
Scots voted to have the pair bring their Cox and Hound Hit The Road tour to the ski centre on the first leg of a five-day-long trip around the UK.
The centre was transformed after it received lottery funding.
And Sara and Rufus tried it out by hurling themselves down the slope on skis, snowboards and rubber tubes.
Sara said: “The roadtrip is a great chance to show everyone who plays or has played the National Lottery, what their money actually means to local communities.”
